LUGO TRANS S.r.l. is an integral part of the Di Nino
Group. Acquired in 1996 by brothers Stefano and Piero Di Nino, Lugo Trans
has fulfilled a strategic function within the group's logistic
organization, becoming a hub for all the northern-Italy traffic. Based in
Cassano d’Adda (province of Milan), the company responds to the Group's
needs through a flexible, yet efficient structure, relying on a qualified
staff and a comprehensive fleet, with the capabilities to cater for any
and all merchandise transportation demands of its clientele. Mr. Stefano
di Nino is directly responsible for the company's operations, which
include transportation, national and international shipments, freight
storage and warehousing, and all the related logistic functions. LUGO
Trans S.r.l., which is listed in the Haulage Contractors register with
license # AQ 650174/W/00, maintains business relationships with some of
the most prestigious national and international corporations (i.e. Saint
Gobain Vetri S.p.A., Balzaretti & Modigliani, Barilla, Impet
Srl,Schutz Italia and more), and benefits from its synergies with Di Nino
Trasporti serving also some of the Group's clients. From its logistic base
in Cassano d’Adda (province of Milan), conveniently located along the road
leading to Treviglio, in the heart of the Milan – Bergamo- Brescia
triangle, the organization coordinates the entire national and
international transportation activity. The fleet includes 35 owned
vehicles, 15 more made available by owner operators (all registered as
Haulage Contractors and carefully selected to satisfy the company's
Quality System requirements) and 60 semitrailers. Thanks to a
comprehensive range of trucks and trailers (115m3 heavy duty, 13,61m open
top, road trains, box semitrailers, ADR-approved), we are able to provide
a solution for any transportation need. The company has sheltered
warehousing space covering 5,000 square meters, compliant with the
strictest quality and safety regulations (ISO 9002). The facility includes
also a garage, which ensures the availability of immediate repairs in the
event of mechanical emergencies.
